Sunshine on my shoulders

I spent the last week with my father in Cleveland, trying to declutter his home and find his dining room table. It took four days and a half dozen trash bags to complete the task. He has already called me a half dozen times, looking for important things like envelopes and his bathroom floor mat.

Why is John Denver here? Well, Dad watched a John Denver special and now is John Denver’s greatest fan. I listened to more John Denver last week than I did when I owned his singles on 45 records. Here’s some wisdom from the bespectacled guy himself, and I think it applies to all of you who continue to support me and read my updates.

I believe that we are here for each other, not against each other. Everything comes from an understanding that you are a gift in my life - whoever you are, whatever our differences.
